MapleXO

"Sometimes the universe really hooks it up. Today it did big time. Met this dude this morning who brought us a truckload of broken skateboards from Seattle. As if that generous gesture from a stranger wasn't enough, the dude ended up being one of the raddest people we've met in quite some time. He recycles skateboards into cruisers and coasters. He's been at it since 2012, and we've got a lot of respect for the way he rolls with it. Josh, come kick it at our workshop anytime! It was so rad to meet you and thanks so much for the boards!!" -Lindsay Jo Holmes
This weekend I hauled a truck load of my coaster scraps and broken skateboards down to Portland. Due to a surplus of material and only two hands to work on it I wanted to share with the fellow upcyclists at MapleXO. Our visions were both incepted around the same time sharing a similar passion towards reducing skateboarders footprint on the planet. I've followed their work since the beginning and watched them grow in huge ways. Thank you Lindsay and Quincy for the tour of your amazing shop and the kind words! There is hope in the world :) www.maplexo.com
