Upcycled Cruiser Board Sealing Process

Rain Mchn's very first batch of upcycled cruiser boards are coming along beautifully. Brock and I are hand sealing each board with natural teak oil to insure the wood's protection from rot, warping, swelling and to make sure they last the test of time. With every product there is a carbon footprint, but we are doing our very best to keep our processes very simple yet effective.

Rain Mchn is now a proud owner of a heat gun. Possibly the best investment we've made so far... With the griptape removed and a projected shape established our slightly larger cruisers are ready to go into production! Thanks to all of you, a difference is being made.

Dan Eyler's Been Collecting

I approached Dan Eyler back in December about joining Brock and myself at Rain Mchn. As a full time carpenter along with a long rooted history in Seattle skateboarding, incorporating him into the mix was a no-brainer. Unfortunately for us his time would be spoken for in the months following. Dan would be working diligently on the build out of Alive and Well, a brand new skate shop in Seattle. Lucky for us the grand opening of the shop is today, which finally gives Dan some time to get involved! His hands-on involvement has yet to begin, but he's been collecting skateboards this whole time! You will soon find out our aspirations are much more than cruiser boards, but it's an incredible start of many things to come!
